11th, 2006 - New blades by Hozan Suzuki of Mumyou Ryu
Hozan Suzuki has developed a beginners blade, specially designed and weighted
for beginners to learn the more difficult "direct hit" method

Mike Hopf in Germany has made some unusual shaped throwing spikes in a
lathe. Interesting innovation is that the tips screw off. Check out some

DVD of early Katori Shinto Ryu, with demonstration by Risuke Otake Sensei

Added a
short biography page on Isamu Maeda Sensei,
4th headmaster of Negishi Ryu to the Archive Section.
There is not much information on him, so sorry for the scant details here.
Hopefully more will come to light.

Some more info added
to the Schools page, particularly on Katori
